Indian cuisines are most of the time hit or miss, and Idaho Falls Tandoori Oven is a definite hit. When walking in through the doors you are met with brown paisley wallpaper and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Right away the staff led us to the table, asking us what we would like to eat and drink. After quick deliberation, a safe choice to go for was the Lamb Kahari, consisting of a boneless lamb with sauteed onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes in a curry sauce, along with raita, and Paneer Parantha Nann bread. The drink was a Pina Colada lemonade. Both food and drink came out quickly and were extremely fresh.

The dishes came out in plain metal bowls and accompanying them was a large empty plate. The Lamb Kahari was the definition of mouth-watering. The lamb was tender and easy to chew. The curry sauce was savory and the sauteed onions, bell peppers added an extra boost of flavor. The naan bread was plain by itself but when paired with the curry and the Raiti was perfect.

Overall, if you’re looking for a fun and flavorful night, the place to go is Tandoori Oven. The staff was exceptionally attentive and kind. The food was fresh and utterly delicious, and well worth the time.
