A librarian in Westwood, Massachusetts is hiding phones. Molly Riportella is the librarian starting to put burner phones in books for victims of abuse. The reason why she started doing this was because she is also a survivor of domestic abuse. Two years ago, a girl came to her library and Molly knew what was happening and gave the girl a phone. The phone was programmed to have the numbers of free attorneys and other social services. Ever since then, she’s been creating hiding spots where she puts the trap phones, so then other victims going through abusive households or abusive relationships that they can’t get out of themselves.
