Divine Dines: Smokin Fins
Ocean-fresh seafood and house smoked specialties are what Smokin Fins is known for. That is not all this regional restaurant concept has to offer. The atmosphere of this location, lends itself to a great date night or prom extravaganza. Walking through the doors you are greeted with warm welcoming tones. Chandeliers constructed of clams hang from the ceiling over plush comfortable booths and tables with plenty of room for friends.
The staff were fantastic from the moment we entered. After a quick look at the menu, it was decided to pick two of their signature dishes, to review. The key lime calamari was cooked to a point where it was the perfect amount of crispy and tender. The calamari is wild-caught, light breaded, and flash fried. Accompanying it was a key lime aioli. A hidden gem in the menu puts the smoke in Smokin Fins. The Prime features a french dip that consists of garlic toasted hoagie, sauteed mushrooms and onions, thinly sliced house smoked prime rib, and smoked gouda served with a side of mouth watering mushroom au jus. The taste of both well prepared dishes were culinary perfection. Overall the atmosphere and the divine taste of the food, made Smokin Fins a one of a kind experience. So, whether it’s a casual night or you’re looking to dress it up, Smokin Fins is a fantastic place for family and friends.
