The 1960’s:

The 60’s seem to have been an influential era on the holiday, with the birth of pop culture staples such as A Charlie Brown Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and countless songs… even aluminum Christmas trees!
The 1970’s:
Popular toys:
- Star Wars themed merchandise
- Early forms of video games, including Pong
- Dolls and Action Figures of various franchises
The 70’s introduced more electronic forms of entertainment, but not straying too far from the tried-and-true toy route, most notably with Star Wars action figures.
The 1980’s :
- Rubik’s Cube
- Atari and Nintendo systems
- Speak and Spell
- Mr. Potato Head
The 80’s brought along more sophisticated electronics, as well as mainstream electronic toys, such as the Speak and Spell.
The 1990’s:
- Tamagotchi
- Beanie Babies
- Various game systems
The 2000’s:
- Various game systems
- Rainbow loom
- Apple IPod and IPhone
The 2000’s was where things went totally electronic. Later in the decade, Apple released their IPod and IPhone, and would quickly rise in popularity.
The 2010’s:

Apple was in full swing this last decade, releasing numerous mobile devices and computers. Most kids asked for video game systems, Such as Nintendo Switch and PS4.
