Chase Eastmond
Considerate, funny and kind, Chase Eastmond (9) moved to Idaho Falls from Seattle, Washington. For a while he had to move from Idaho Falls to Napa, but then he came back to Idaho Falls again. His friends say he is a good friend, a fun person, and a unique individual.
Eastmond’s dad now works for the Department of Energy. He likes taking Honors classes because they are good to take, and “a little bit more challenging than some of the other classes, but you also learn a lot more,” Eastmond said. “Taking honors classes helps with scholarships also,” Eastmond added. “There’s a higher chance of getting into colleges.”
Eastmond is looking into studying Aviation and reading biology in his future, and he just thinks it will be really fun.
Eastmond loves band, “I love everything about the band, it’s way better than any other classes,” he said. “My favorite part is that you can crack a few jokes now and then, unlike most of the classes here.” Eastmond has been playing the tenor sax for 3 months. “I choose the tenor sax because it’s the best!!” he exclaimed. “I would encourage anyone to play the tenor saxophone, and we could use some more for next year.”
In Eastmond’s free time, he likes to stay productive. “I read, practice my saxophone, also make a couple of songs every now and then.” Eastmond is open to any type of music, like Jazz, Country, etc. When asked, “Who would you meet if you could meet anyone in the world?” he responded, “If I could meet anyone I would probably want to meet Andrew Jackson, or maybe the Wright Brothers.”
