Tammy Sorensen has been a coach at our school for 35 years. She is the head coach for the softball team, but she also helps with many of other sports

“Tammy leaving the softball program is going to be a hard transition for all of the players. She was an amazing coach and built up the program very well. Her coaching skills here amazing. She got out there with us and helped us every step of the way,” Jesse Neff (12) said.  “A memory I had with Tam was many tournament and games.”

Bri Molina (11) is also going to really miss her. “I’m really sad she has to go. She’s has a place in everyone’s heart.  My best memories with her are when a kid yells at her in the gym and she always puts them in there place!” Even though Molina didn’t have her as a coach, she looked up to Sorensen as a coach anyway. “I know that she will coach me randomly. I’m on volleyball and track, and she has always given great advice even when she makes fun of me.  She’s always told me to relax like every other coach and it’s made be a better and calmer person today! We are really gonna miss her.”
